Hmmm. Should I go low brow? High brow? Serious? Witty? So many choices.

I think the voting should be kept confidential until closed, to prevent begging...lol

Also what if two people send in the same or extremely similar ideas?

They are accused of plagiarism and get expelled.

I, too, do not know whether serious, witty, funny, silly, useful, audacious, or some other approach is the best.

Hence my reason for submitting as soon as possible.

The problem with that was that on the way home, I figured out a much better version of the card. :(  (I'm assuming that I cannot submit a revision?)
Once? An accident. Twice? A coincidence. Three times? A pattern.

What if someone already stole your idea from your head?

If it is obvious what you meant, that is no problem starkid, otherwise resend the particular email you sent with the corrected information.  Correcting errors doesn't count as sending in a second submission.

Get out of my head!  Get out!

Actually, my head is full of lolcats at the moment.  So if anyone wants to take some they are welcome to them.

I think this one is especially adorable.

Begging could cost as many votes as it might gain.  The voting will probably be "vote to see."  As for quick submissions.. it will be helpful for us to not have to read 200 submissions on the 22nd, but there is plenty of time to chew on ideas before then and honestly we don't mind.

To comment, briefly, on what kind of card is likely to win: think for yourself how many people on the site are likely to prefer a serious card to a humorous one, a EU card to a classic, a totally fantastical broken card to a seriously dull "no one will ever use me" card.  The voting public is your audience, play to them!

Finally: second thoughts are often just that.  Second.

Does the card have to be Star Wars related? Because I came up with several very good ones that aren't.
