There were funny ones that were very close to the top 5, it just so happened that in our opinions the best five cards happened to be serious.  We didn't rate them with that idea in mind or anything.

In picking the final five none of us agreed on the same funny cards.  I was kind of disappointed about it, but I hope you guys think the final five are as strong a set of cards as we did.  I'd love to see all of these in print.

Congrats to all the finalists!  I'll be at DragonCon when the winner is announced, so congrats to the winner in advance, lol.  My favorite card isn't doing so well in the run, heh.  Oh well.

Your favorite card was SUPPOSED to be MINE!  But no, it didn't make the Top 5.    >:(

Maybe I won't let you play this game with me anymore...    :P

I like that none of the finalists were humor cards.  That's just personal preference.

Are we allowed to say who we voted for, or is that information best kept super-secret until the voting ends?

Out of the handful of ideas I had, the one I chose to submit was very similar to one of these.  So I am now wishing that I'd have submitted one of my more unique ideas.   :(

Oh well, great job to those who made the final five!

Tough choice, but in the end I really liked Planetary Shield Generator as I find that objectives are too easy to hit and there is little or nothing you can do to make that harder.

There is one issue with this card: Defense value 12. Since it's ability automatically changes that to a 14 this is immedeately the toughest objective there is (ranking right next to Death Star Exhaust port). For a card with such a great ability (both the DS exhaust and Coruscant Naval base, the next two highest at 14 and 13, have far less useful abilities) that seems too high. I think that a defense value of 9 would be far more appropriate (don't forget, that's an 11 because of the ability)

probably better until the end, influencing votes = bad.

I did a posting on this, I agreed very much so!

Yeah, I sent in a very playable card, I didn't go for an all out concept card :(
Next time I'll send in something crazy :)

I don't like much of your choosen ideas ..

Card Title: Planetary Shield Generator
Card Text: Opponent gets -2 attack to their Strike actions.
Card Defense: 12
Extra strong objective that making impossible to destroy other objective.. and card text must be changed to Opponents (not opponent) becouse multiplay option.

Card Title: Mon Calamari Intuition
Card Text: You may move up to **** of ships out of
the zone they are in, ending the current battle.
Why not text say where to move ships ? If you can move in enemy home zone than this card is wery strong.. becouse if you play in opponent attack phase in your turn you can move another 5 stars and will have 9 points in opponent home zone.

Card Title: You're All Clear Kid
Card Icon: laser
Card Text: If the opposing unit is destroyed while in its home zone,
another friendly [torpedo] unit in the same zone may immediately make
a strike against one objective.
Laser card that seek Another torpedo unit ?! Why not Torpedo that seek another torpedo ? and why change rules.. attack & strike in one phase ?! I think that better is +2 to strike objective if objective have Deth Star in name or if objective have 12 defence...

This was a tough choice.

I'm curious though, are we not supposed to see the vote tallies? After I submitted my vote, my choice was bold as usuall in these polls, but there were no bars with the numbers and percentages. Did I miss reading some fine print?
Once? An accident. Twice? A coincidence. Three times? A pattern.
