I personally believe that the Guichuan (my spelling might be a bit off) is the best out of all of the "Super Ships"

and Here is a combo I came up with that is devestating to all ships

1- "Super Ship" (I like the Guichuan)
3- Unique Treasures
-Trees (Base Set) (when revealed repair ALL mast on one ship, then Trees remove from game)
-Neptunes Trident (Revolution) (launch a 2L long, 1S wide wave from any where on the ship, remove 2 masts from all ships and forts, then remove one mast from this ship for every effected unit, then remove Neptunes trident from the game)
-Nemo's Charts (Mystirious Islands, yes i butchered spelling) (Unique Treasure are not removed from the game, just placed face-down)

NT to hit the opponent/s hard, Trees to recover, and Nemo to be able to do it over and over and over....

Nice, but I would play that combo with Baochuan (sp?).  I personally think they made too many of those super-ships (was it 4 or 5?)  The first couple of any super-thing is cool, but make too many and they start to lose their wow factor.  This is probably why they stopped making dragons for Mage Knight after the first four (though still made many Draconians and a couple of smaller dragons for the 2.0 cavalry set).  Sorry about going off topic.

They made six 10-masted junks in all -- the Baochuan, Guichan, Zeus, Delusion, Shui Xian, and Celtic Fury. I agree about losing the "wow" after the first one or two. I got the Zeus and it was good, but it took the fun out of the game; where's the challenge in using a ship that can't be stopped? I wound up giving it away.

I was fortunate enough to be involved in the initiation of the Baochuan/Zheng He design, thinking that WK would be encouraged to do more with the Jade fleet. However, on top of not doing much more of interest with Jade Rebellion, they made the first treasure ship/character available only as a convention-exclusive promo.

However, they did produce the ship, and that is a credit to their response to customer input. I still have my Baochuan/Zheng He as a memento of my promotional liaising between WK and Gavin Menzies, the researcher who discovered the full capabilities of the Chinese treasure fleets.

I was definetly dissapointed with the lack of Jade Rebellion and Barbary Corsair fleets.  They really have too much of the Cursed though.  One captain I would like to see is the CUCUI.

BY THE WAY THIS MY 1,000th POST!!! I'M A JEDI GRAND MASTER!!! START THROWING THE + MY WAY!!! Grin (I really ment that!)

My gaming group plays Pirates once a month, and SWPM or Rocketmen once a month as well. I keep making up new scenarios to keep the game fresh, and no one has gotten bored yet.

Ditto on Target...they've still got a pretty decent stock at the one nearest me.  Also, of course, there's eBay.

There's plenty of stuff that can't be found on Ebay!  For example, my nephews!
